Our tutors range from engineers with graduate degrees to SAG award-nominated actors, but are united by their passion to inspire and teach. We offer specialists in every subject.

standardized test prep
Gold Standard Tutors are experienced and well-equipped in guiding students of all ages through preparation for standardized tests, including the PSAT, SAT, and ACT.
We provide a private user interface via TestInnovators where students can access practice tests, a bank of practice questions, and digital overviews of their progress as a part of their individually-catered study process!
executive function
Executive function coaching is scheduled and billed in the same manner as subject tutoring, but our approach is far from uniform.
Efficient executive function is key to academic success, especially for neurodivergent learners. Informed by years of experience working with students with diverse learning differences, our tutors bring patience and understanding to every session. We take pride in being adaptable to meet the individual, specific needs of all unique learners.
As the founder, Ellen’s passion for supporting students with ADHD shines through in our approach. She shares her own experiences, tools, and strategies to empower learners in developing skills for organization, time management, and self-regulation and passes them along through her team of hard-working teachers.

Our multi-talented team includes MFA writers and industry-changing essay coaches who have developed the writing styles, mechanics, and workflow of students ultimately admitted to top universities including Yale, Cornell, the University of Michigan, the University of Miami, USC, UC Berkeley, Chapman and more.
